Chad Chaffin
Having started at least two races in the last eight NCTS seasons, Chaffin enters the 2008 season with 102 career starts. He has won twice on the circuit and has notched 11 top 5 and 29 top 10 finishes. He surpassed the $1 million mark in earnings with his 8-race stint with Key Motorsports in 2007 in which he posted the team's best-ever finish with a 7th place at Martinsville and an 8th place effort in Talladega in the fall. The Murfreesboro, Tennessee driver will be driving for Key Motorsports for the third time in his career; having started the 2006 campaign with the Mooresville, NC organization and driving for the first seven races before leaving to dedicate himself to a NASCAR Nextel Cup Series opportunity. Chaffin's racing background included late models in his native Tennessee and the first-ever USAR Hooter's Pro Cup crown back in 1997. Chad Chaffin is married, and he and wife Cindy have three children: daughter Brooke and sons Chase and Chaz. Michelle Theriault
In 2005, Theriault expanded her racing resume when she made one start in the NASCAR Grand National Division, AutoZone West Series at Douglas County Speedway in Roseburg, Ore. The 2006 season has proven to be pivotal, marking the first full season with a corporate partner. Smyrna, Ga.-based GLOCK joined Theriault and allowed her to worry less about funding her racing career and focus more attention to on-track performance. She didn't disappoint, recording the best start and finish by a female competitor in the Pro Cup Series. She also bettered several of her personal records. |
